Education and Resource Fair 1:0 ~ Connecting Communities To Opportunities

You and your family are invited to Big Shoulders Fund Resource Fair. If you are not familiar with Big Shoulders Fund, let me tell you about this great organization.  The mission of the Big Shoulders Fund is to provide support to Catholic schools in the neediest areas of inner-city Chicago. The programs that Big Shoulders Fund manage benefit the hardest working students in Chicago, providing scholarships, special education programs, instructional equipment, much-needed school facility improvements, faculty support, operating grants and more.

The resource fair will take place on Saturday, August 16th  from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at St. Ailbe School located at 9037 S. Harper (intersection of 91st street and Stony Island Avenue).  The purpose of the community resource fair is to spread awareness about Big Shoulders Fund partner schools.  The resource fair will also have vital and resourceful community based organizations throughout Chicago there to help connect the communities to services.  Last but not least, the resource fair will also celebrate the Chicago students and families returning to school!

Take a look at the vendors that will be at the resource fair.  .  .
